Know more about Intel
Intel unveiled Claremont, an experimental processor chip which can be operated from a tiny solar cell. The new processor allow transistors to operate a super low voltages, which increases efficiency dramatically.
This has 5 times the efficiency of current chips and can be operated from a solar cell the size of a postage stamp. Intel CEO Justin Ratner also unveiled the new Hybrid Memory Cube, which has 7 times the efficiency of DDR3 memory, with astonishing data transfer rates.
